This dog ramp is pretty well built and comes fully assembled which is awesome. It is definitely made for smaller dogs but it is sturdy enough. My dog is about 23 pounds and on the wood floor the ramp slides with him getting on and off. Some rubber feet on the bottom would probably go a long way. I think the movement would be less of an issue for smaller dogs. I definitely would recommend for anything over 30 pounds. Maybe I should have looked closer at the product images, but this ramp was much steeper than I expected it to be. Initially, my dog wouldn't go up or down it at the highest setting. It took a lot of treats before he would consider going down it and even still he uses it more like a single stair that he takes one step and jumps off of than a walking ramp. I do appreciate how narrow the ramp is as I use it at the end of a bed. I would recommend this if you look closely at the dimensions and pictures. Note the main product image is set at the lower height setting and is the least steep setting available.

This ramp has several good things about it, and a few that could be improved. The positives are that this ramp is light, much lighter than the metal ramps I have tried. The carpeting on the top of the ramp has large, heavy grooves built in to the weave that will help your pet feel secure when descending, even if it is snowing or raining. The height is easily adjustable and the whole thing can be folded flat for easy storage.So the biggest issue I have is with the height. I expected to be able to use this to get my dogs into my Landcruiser and my bed, but it was not tall enough for either. I know that it is my fault for not paying more attention to the height when I was ordering, I still think that it should be tall enough for most cars. The wood on the ramp is also A little thin, but probably thick enough for most dogs. I would not trust it to hold a human or a bigger dog like a St. Bernard though.Although I would not recommend this product if you have a taller car or bed that is high off the ground, for other purposes it is a good choice, and I would recommends this for small to medium dogs and medium height cars or beds.
