In the video it shows that the dog won’t get their claws stuck in the mesh. FALSE. In the 1st use of this product my yellow lab got his paw stuck in the mesh.

We have a F-150, and last time we went for a drive, my dog jumped and fell on her back as she missed the trunk. I decided to find something for her safety, as I don't want her to injure herself, and at 120 lbs, I can't just lift her. These stairs are fabulous; I don't have other words! They are sturdy, well-made, foldable (so portable), and I always have them in my trunk now. They don't take up much room at all. They are easy to install and put back in the bag. I have a big, heavy dog, and these stairs are holding her weight perfectly. She needed some practice at first, but after a couple of tries, she is now comfortable using them quickly.

Just what I needed for my aging dog. I have a little dog but I still got this large ramp so she felt sturdy and safe. It is solid, folds up easily, and extends the right amount. Shipping was fast and it was well packaged.

On first glance it seems nice however the yellow stickers you put on the edge don’t stick well but more concerning is that it says it holds up to 400 lbs and I definitely have doubts. The frame may be strong but the mesh over the middle warps when my 85 lb dog walks on it making it look and I assume feel unstable. I stepped one foot on it (I am not 400lbs) and it definitely warped and seemed like it was bending at the hinges. If I hadn’t already unboxed it and I felt up to the effort of hauling it in for a return, I would return it. I will have to see if anyone I know has ideas on making it stronger. I don’t get the impression it will collapse under my 85 lb dog but was hoping for something sturdier as he doesn’t like unstable surfaces. It folds nicely and is a great height. If you have a braver or lighter dog it would probably work well.

The Good:This ramp appears well constructed and finished with no rough or sharp edges. My dog is 136 lbs and the ramp holds her weight just fine. The width is the key for large dogs...the width on this ramp is perfect and she does not get scared of the edges of it. When clasped to the back of our Toyota RAV 4, the angle of the ramp is not too steep-she actually likes to run up the ramp. Training her to utilize the ramp took all of 10 minutes. The Bad:The included edge, yellow reflective strips did not adhere to the ramp for more than a half a day (in my case). I had to peel them back off and apply a spray adhesive to the back of the strips and stick them back on the ramp edges-they have remained on just fine after that mod. Be careful when folding and unfolding the ramp-watch your fingers on the pinch points where the hinges are! When folded, this ramp does take up a bit of room in the back of my SUV.I would recommend this ramp for large dogs over 100 lbs.

These have came in handy many times. I have a 7 year old, 90# pitbull who has started developing some arthritis in his hips. He started having a difficult time jumping up in the back end of our Tahoe, so I bought these stairs for him to use. They have been wonderful for him. They're lightweight and easy to use, they fold up relatively compact, and they store well! The corrugated metal steps allow in to safely enter and exit the car without slipping or falling even in base weather. My dog is much more excited to go on car rides now that he knows he's not going to hurt himself getting in and out.

This (dog) ramp works amazing, well made/built. I had no issues training my senior 110 lb lab, and my rottweilers and GSD, and my other large breed dogs on it. They all felt very secure walking up and down on it!

This is a great solution for our older lab who has had two CCL surgeries. 5 stars because it has worked for us off of our back deck as well as the car. It’s sturdy, but not too heavy. It is still slippery, but we do have nonslip mats for him.the handle is super helpful. I don’t think it hold 400 lbs though. 200 lbs maybe.
