It's a great ramp. I gave it a four instead of five because it's heavy and as previous noted you have to be very careful not to pinch your fingers when folding or unfolding. Other than that my pooch loves it!

Sturdy. Good width for a large dog, and The extra length, compared to other similar ramps, is great. The sole of the ramp is more gradual, important for a dog that is very hesitant to use a ramp to get onto a tall bed or in the back of an SUV.

The ramp is compact and easy to maneuver. It stashes behind the seat of the truck, and when extended, it is sturdy, and has good grip.

This ramp is built to last, easy to install, even better when you travel with your pup! Durable enough to help my 12 week corso into my SUV without tearing up his joints simply trying to jump in. Could I pick him up at this age - 38 ibs in ehh yea but he won’t be small forever! Reality is my pup is getting bigger and will be much heavier, so lifting for me will soon be a problem. We started training him to use the ramp early, so he is practically used to walking up the ramp now. When not in use I store it in my trunk, unfold it when I need it, and he walks up and gets into his pet designed car seat! It’s that simple! Easy to clean with a light vacuum or wipe down if needed. Durable, sturdy, and light enough to transfer between vehicles if needed.Great buy for your pups needing to get in high places on a weekly basis or more! Easy on their joints for optimal growth and health! I’d also add this helps prevent scratching of my car interior, since my pup doesn’t need to jump into the car and try to grip the seats to stabilize himself.

So far it’s worked great. I’ve only had my dog go up and down once. She just had surgery so she can’t jump. It’s pretty steep even for a fairly low car if you’re trying to hook it to the back so it doesn’t slide. But she was able to manage it. She’s a 85 pound golden retriever who just had CCL surgery. I was needing something to get her in the car without jumping so I can take her back to the vet.
