These sympathy gifts are lovingly crafted to offer comfort and support during grief. As shown in the pictures, they come with a planting instruction poem. On the back of the card, you can personalize your message to convey your condolences.
The product packaging includes planting instructions, and you can handwrite your message on the back of the card. If you need inspiration, here's a wonderful quote: "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened."
Here is some "dirt" on caring for the plantable paper:
- Storage: Keep the paper in a cool (not freezing), dry area where temperature and humidity remain stable. Some products come packaged in acid-free plastic envelopes. If you don't plant the seed paper immediately, open the packaging for the seeds to breathe. Planting the paper within 9-15 months of purchase is recommended for optimal germination.
- Planting indoors: If you forcibly bring the seed paper inside, moisten it (without over-soaking), place it in a plastic container, and cover it with plastic wrap. Keep it in a warm, sunny window, and you'll see the seedlings emerging after approximately two weeks! If planting outdoors, wait until all frost dangers have passed, then prepare the soil, sprinkle the paper on top, cover with 1/4 inch of topsoil water, and keep moist until germination, which typically takes 6-8 weeks.

I run a business and had a client lose both of per dogs in a short period of time. I thought these would be the perfect sentiment to her pups! I thought of these because my vet sent them to me when I lost my girl and it was a bit of comfort and now when they bloom I think of my angel girl. I hope she will too!

I gave these as a sympathy gift to my best friend who had just lost her long time fur-companion. I just knew this was the perfect way to remember him in a very unique way. However, the seeds didn’t grow, making this a flop. I felt awful knowing not only had she lost her best pal, but the forget-me-not seeds did not produce reminding us both of his death all over again. Very disappointing. I won’t order these again. An ornament, stepping stone, wind chimes, plaque would have all been better choices.

These are embarrassingly awful quality! I’m a dog groomer and I wanted to add these to sympathy cards that went out to clients. You couldn’t pay me to send these things to anyone.

We recently lost a dog who everyone in the family loved. Since we have a pretty big family, we wanted to give everyone a keepsake of her and something hopeful they could do about her passing. These seed blankets in the shape of a bone was just perfect! Everyone loved them and was so touched. What a great idea.
