Offering remarkable performance for its size and cost, this above ground pool filter features a high-tech 7-position dial valve with a flange clamp that allows for full 360-degree rotation.A perforated plastic locator helps distribute pool sand evenly without getting into the stem pipe. The maximum pressure of this filter and pump system is 50 PSI, with a flow rate of 35 gallons per minute. This tank filters approximately 16,800 gallons of water every eight hours. This filter requires 100 pounds of #20 Silica Sand or 50 pounds of ZeoSand. The system operates at water temperatures from 32°F to 113°F.

We purchased this for our 6000 + gallon pool. This sand filter keeps our pool clean! It didn't come with instructions about maintenance, which would have been helpful. The installation instructions weren't very clear. Thankfully my husband is a plumber and he installed it for us.

Have tried everything to get this item to work properly. It has very little pressure and does not clean as it should. Wasted hard earned money on this!

If you are spending a few hundred on a pool pump just pony up and spend a little more and get this PROFESSIONAL quality pool pump that will circulate your pool with ease and reliability. this is my fifth pool pump in my lifetime this being my second Harris of which the first one I left at a house I sold. the other 3 were the usual suspects found here on Amazon like Intex, extreme power. these pumps are just cheap and do not last. this Harris has a high quality motor and high quality tank with very smooth and quality feeling valves. its a quality you see and feel as well as appreciate for years to come. its quiet and very powerful. it will run a pool robot unlike the last few "3/4" hp pumps I bought to save a buck. this is a real 3/4 hp pump that will move water. YOU WILL NEED ADAPTERS to run this with most of your above ground pool hoses and in/outlets. in my case it was the 40mm to 1 1/2 Inch Conversion piece that I needed and I only needed one of the two that comes in a package. I also went ahead and installed a Thru-Wall Skimmer on the side of my pool. the skimmer and pump will outlive the pool I have and I plan on transferring them to my next above ground pool.
