Shipped well and arrived without damage. Put on my father in laws rv and install was about 6/10. Hardest part was getting it on the roof. Wiring was easy and it's been running great ever since. Saved $2k without having an RV tech install it.

DO NOT BUY! The item is discontinued by dometic. There is next to no information on this AC available, nor are you able to get the parts it does not come with. Im willing to bet that the AC needs to run through a control board, that sends the info to the mother board. THERE IS NO INFO AVAILABLE, besides a wiring diagram that tells you nothing! This product is trash due to being discountinued, then again, that alone speaks volumes.

For being a 15,000 btu unit I’m disappointed that in 100° heat it struggles to keep up. I have the thermostat set at 60° yet inside my 5th wheel its 80° to 85° inside. To which I find unacceptable

We ordered this AC because our trailer’s AC went out. My fiancé (who has a bachelors degree in electrical engineering) and his grandfather (who was a contractor for 30 years) started to connect the new unit. When they went to wire it (white - white, black - black, green - green), they were getting electrical current through the ground wiring (green - green). After several tries, they called it quits. They did not once drill the product onto the trailer. The only thing they did was attempt to wire it. We now have a new AC unit that works perfectly fine. When we put in a return request, they approved it. But they would not pay for shipping. The shipping cost was $350. Then they proceeded to say that they are going to check the product (without us present) and charge a 20% “restocking fee”. My fiancé called the company to talk about the return fee and the restocking fee. The man on the phone stated, “The product works, you just didn’t set it up right,”. He also stated that the 20% fee is because we hooked up the AC, and it needs to be exactly how we bought it. Again, the AC is in the exact condition it was bought (broken). It was not drilled into our trailer. All the pieces are still attached. It is even in the same crate. The company also told Amazon that they have tried to contact us regarding the set up of the AC. Not once did my fiancé or myself get a phone call from this company. The only time we heard from them was when my fiancé contacted them regarding pricing. The company is completed unprofessional. They do not take accountability for their damaged products. They blame the customer instead. They send broken (and extremely dangerous) products out, and make you pay for the return and an unnecessary “restocking” fee. I have never written a review on a product before, but I would absolutely hate for anyone else to go through the same troubles we are going through. If you are looking for an AC unit, I recommend the TOSOT unit (also located on Amazon). It runs great and the company is very professional.

Now one year installed and works great. Not as easy to install, you need tools and knowledge.Like the remote so I can operate the AC also from the bedroom.

Misleading info on the website, beware of what your buying does not describe the unit fully in detail of what you need for, of the result of it to properly work. There was no plug and play and the manual tells you all the info you need but there's missing parts and more info you need to know that you didn't know that you need to buy.

I purchased 2 units to replace the 2 rooftop units on my 38' Heartland Bighorn RV.My AC tech easily installed them on the roof of RV in one hour. He complained that the Wiring was not compatible with my RV power & thermostat connectors. He cut off connector plug and attempted to hard wire to existing RV wiring, but when powered up the main circuit board burned up! Now i'm stuck unable to locate a replacement circuit board, and still not clear how to properly wire up to my RV thermostat wiring? It was over 30 days before my AC tech was available to install units so it looks like i'm stuffed for the >$1800 total charged and already paid on my Amazon Credit Card!
