A good heater, I did buy it to mount on the ceiling but it seemed to heat up every thing in the vicinity and I worried it would be a fire risk, so I had to make a bracket to mount it on and allow a bit of air flow around it

I bought a thermostated switch for the wall to use so I would not have to pull on the switch rope so much. I run it on lowest setting to not worry how people said it might burn itself up because the heat affecting the plastic housing.

This heater is slightly larger than I expected. I use it to heat an outdoor shed in cold weather. It is perfect for this task.The item arrived 2 days earlier than expected. It was simple to install and put to use.Very happy with both the item and the service.

Works well for heating objects but not for heating the air in the room. It's an infrared heater. The pull string broke off after a couple of years of use. I opened it up and the string broke off inside the switch so there was no string sticking out to tie something to. If they used a which with one of those little metal chains coming out a little bit it would be a simple fix, but the didn't. Mine was stuck on medium. I'm still using it with the plug as the on/off control. Still a good value if they last two years but don't expect a lot of durability.

Je l’ai reçue en bon état. La grosseur est parfaite. Finalement j’ai installé la lampe sur des crochets amovibles conçus pour les revêtements. Chacun peut porter 10livres. C’est amplement pour la lampe qui ne fait pas 5 livres.La soirée est fraîche (humidité et vent) mais on ne le sent pas 😎

I tested this out in the garage (on a hot day) and everything worked nicely. This unit itself doesn't come with a stand, so you'll have to determine an appropriate spot to mount/hang it. It's a pretty good size and has the three levels of heat to choose from. The price seems extremely reasonable at around $35. I would recommend it for a garage or outdoor patio type situation. I don't know if my garage space will be too big for what this thing can put out, but I plan on positioning it to the area I'm working in.

I'm very happy with the size of this thing - it should provide a good amount of heat for my outdoor seating space. I have not tried it because it is the middle of a very hot summer! IT is nice and light, however, so hanging it will be simple enough.I'm so happy to have this and look forward to enjoying more time outdoors when the weather gets cooler!

It's the middle of July so I'm not exactly 'cold' when I am relaxing outside. but I have tested this out in the house and I have to say it can put out some heat. It wont heat a whole patio like those huge, several hundred dollar ones, but it will do the trick for one or two people sitting within a few feet of it.The front is metal but the back is plastic. You can mount it on a wall or a tripod (not included) and it has three settings. You switch between setting by pulling a string. I wish the string were a little better as I feel like this will break easily. Especially outside. It's just a thin cord. They should have used a ball chain like they do on ceiling fans.It's not the highest quality heater made, but you get what you pay for and for the price, this could be just what you are looking for... an inexpensive heat source for enjoying your coffee outside on a chilly morning or evening.

We added this heater to our patio. This combined with the firepit we have there, really add a nice touch to the deck and helps on those cool Spring nights. The heater does a good job of keeping the chill out of the air, but don't pick this unit up thinking it will keep you toasty on a truly cold night. This is perfect for a cool night, with a glass of wine, enough to keep two people warmed up on a cool evening.
