After installing it rubbed against the window each time it was rolled down had to cut one of the holders so it would not rub. The quality is not there would not purchase again will look for a better quality one.

So our 2016 Prius V's two front doors wouldn't stay open, and I searched for replacement door stoppers and could only find one's from dealers, etc, that were $60-$80 each! There was no way I was going to pay that, so I wondered, could a 2016 or so Prius sedans door stopper fit our V? So I ordered 2 of these and when they arrived, I matched them to my old one's and they were about a 3/8"" shorter but the bolt holes were exact. I removed both door panels and installed them. The doors open not quite as far as the original stoppers, but open plenty far and most importantly, they are now very stiff in the 2 positions that hold the doors open! They work great, the doors feel heavy and stiff to open, and no issues with them opening not quite as far as the original stoppers! Very pleased with the money saved and how well these work!

Does NOT hold door open unless car is perfectly level or pointed downhill. I should have returned them, but decided to modify them by adding shims inside. That helped only a little. I then bent the outer casing in to press even harder. They still don't work. I will try to find another source because these are totally useless and as the title says... total garbage. I don't normally write reviews, but these are so bad, I felt compelled to do so this time. Save yourself a headache and pass on these.
