Easy to cut for sizing, fits perfectly. Used for a kitchen door with a gap leading to basement and next to a heat vent we were losing heat until now.

Our doors were originally hung for carpet. After changing to hardwood floors, there was too much of a gap under the door. It stays in place, and it completely darkens the room now.

We use item on a door leading to our basement stairway which is carpeted. The main floor is tile. This fit the door beautifully and it slides easily as theh door is opened and closed. We installed it because when our A/C is running during hot days, the cold air 'sinks' under this door. Very quiet, never gets 'caught up', blocks the loss of cold air to lower level. Please with the product and its performance.

I like how you can cut these to size. My son’s door has a strange bump I needed to work with and it was easy with this design. It still keeps all the light out and it stays on the door.

So, I didn't get this product to reduce drafts or noise. As anyone living in an older home knows, as the foundations shift and the doorways warp, you'll often find that doors either want to stay open or want to stay closed. When I lived alone this was not an issue. However, I now have my adult daughter living with me and our respective rooms are a short hall away. Unable to fully close our doors due to my grandcat's need to patrol his territory, this product gives us a perfect compromise of access and privacy by allowing us to set our doors as open or closed as we want. This product isn't advertised as such, but on carpeted floors at least, it makes a fantastic door-stop.I bought one to try and immediately ordered two more. Lightning fast to set up. Very happy with all three of my purchases.
