Have to agree with the reviews that say this is junk. Even as tight as I could set it, this lock just slid across my tile floor and didn’t hold the door at all. Worthless.

Hallo,ich wollte eine Absicherung für meinen Urlaub und habe mich zu diesem Türstopper entschieden und hoffen das wir jetzt einen besseren und ruhigeren Urlaub geniessen können. Bis jetzt haben wir immen einen Stuhl vor die Tür gestellt, den Abschließen kann man ja nicht. 🤣 Also bis zum nächsten Urlaub.

This seemed promising when tested at home, didn't think about taking into consideration hard floors vs. carpeted. The hotel in Vegas had carpeted floors and no matter how much I wrenched it, it still wouldnt hold. So not slip resistant against carpets or at least high-traffic carpets.
