Excellent adhesive, scissors can cut but I recommend something better maybe a saw, I’m not sure. It was thick and difficult to cut. For sure doable though. Use something like a straight edge or even painters tape to guide your with your measurements when applying. It was difficult to keep it in a straight line and my first try was noticeably wavy. I would use this again, now that I’ve learned how to work with it I believe it will be easier! It does look great!

Bought the 20ft white to add a more traditional looking “edge” to my ikea shelves. The size was maybe a hair smaller than the shelf thickness but the alternatives I found were all too big so I kept this one and I’m glad I did. Can’t notice the very slight size difference now that it’s on the shelf and the style of this particular trim is nicer than others- I ordered more than one but retuned the other when I saw how fake it looked. This looks much more convincingly like real wood trim to my eye.The white is a good clean white, stickiness is strong- was able to initially pull up and restick but not sure if it would come off now that it has been up for over a month, it felt pretty strong and there has not been any lifting/peeling/ bubbling, etc.Look is nice - did what I intended but I’m not sure how noticeable it is from far away since o keep it white on white.The one challenge is the cut. I measured out pieces to length of my shelf and then used these powerful wire cutting scissors to sever sections— this took a lot of hand strength which I lack so it was not easy for me. Got it done but really had to lean into it and squeeze hard.The cut edges are not perfect but unless someone sticks their face right up to it they won’t notice that now. I will buy again for another shelf and do like the product. Great weekend day product for good price. My photo shows one shelf with trim vs one shelf without trim.
