This fit perfectly on our steel siding. Without this, we could not have a Nest Doorbell (Gen 2). I don’t love that I have 2 holes in the siding now from the old doorbell that was installed sideways, but I have since filled them with a color matching caulk.

This is exactly what we needed for our new Nest doorbell camera. Our new one angled down due to our home’s siding. This piece allows the camera to sit straight and tight against the siding.

This is the only good option on Amazon to attach Google nest doorbell gen 2 wired to the vinyl siding.Honestly its not going to be a plug and play for most, but can be made to work with some DIY.
