Got these for a partscaster project I've been working on, and they are so much better for tuning stability.The guitar originally came with those standard, hard edged and angular crimped metal string guides that all of my Fender made guitars have...and are terrible. Strings catch on them, and a good bend will cause a sudden detuning, often accompanied by that pop sound that tells you your strings are taking some damage. These immediately solved that problem. What's really nice about this set in particular, and an advantage over other ones I have tried, is that the package comes with two of each of the height adjusters...so you can have two tall, two short, or mixed...so you can really tailor it to your guitar. Love that. Well made, look great, finish is nice and smooth. Would definitely get again.

If you've experienced string breakage due to a less than perfect string tree, this is your answer. It's not exactly a roller, but the radiused design is smooth and won't cause friction and wear to your strings. The diameter of the screw is slightly larger than my old one so I just used my existing screw. I'm happy with the performance.

Very nice barrel style string trees. The string grooves are nice and smooth so there is no chance of the strings binding up so no weird popping while tuning or tremolo use. The chrome is very well done and they look great on the guitar.

I like to make and play guitars. Buying bodies, necks and parts are cheap and easy to find online, especially here on Amazon. With these string trees I got them for one of my telecaster builds. They are a lot better than most cheap string trees amd work well. I lined them up where I wanted them, drilled two baby pilot holes in the headstock and screwed the string trees down. Installed strings on the guitar and it was perfect. Well worth the cost of these and will order some more for my next guitar build.

Review is for Dopro 2-Pack Barrel Style Stainless Steel Guitar String Guides Steel String Retainers String Trees...Picked up this pack to replace those cheap looking standard sharp trees with something that looks better.This was a straight, un-screw the ones on the Strat, and using the correct spacers, screw these in. No new holes, went in perfectly.No problems.

I ordered the Dopro 2-Pack Barrel Style Stainless Steel Guitar Sting Guides in black for a new guitar build project. I enjoy building guitars and therefore I am always seeking parts that provide a good value. These string trees are easy to install and work very well, preventing string binding. To install the sting trees, you will need to drill small holes and screw them in with a screwdriver. The package comes with height adjusters enabling you to adjust the string trees to best fit your guitars needs.

I replaced the chrome hardware on one of my guitars with gold, and got these to replace the string trees. I much prefer these to the stock, cheap bent metal trees on my strats and strat-style guitars with straight headstocks. I've had strings catch when bending with some trees, but these provide break angle without adding any appreciable friction, and you can see there is nothing for the string to "snag" on. Installation was quick and simple, and they look great. As with any wood screw, just take care not to overtighten and strip them.
