I own a 2015 Honda pilot. This works as designed. Holds the battery down and fits snuggly.If you are concerned that it won't, it will.

This was a precise fitting hold down. I just finished installing new battery cables and a battery upgrade, needed a new hold down as the other one was absolutely destroyed by corrosion.
