Never got a chance to use it. Wouldn’t fit my 88 Comanche with out mounting modifications. I wasn’t willing to do that.

Good replacement part. With many vacuum diaphragms becoming more difficult to find. I hope this one remains available for anyone needing to replace this on the HVAC system of a GM.Hint, if you're looking at this for the 95-05 GM HVAC system, it's almost the right part, and is easily modified with a pair of tin snips and a drill to be an exact fit for the defrost door actuator.

This seems to be a quality vacuum actuator that appears to have a good rubber diaphragm. It holds vacuum and does what it's supposed to. I can only hope it has a long life because it is now deep under my dashboard.Edit: Aug 2020It still seems to be holding up. I'm adding some photos from when I was installing it for anyone who would like to see some different angles. (The aluminum I used is 3/4" wide x 1/8" thick - for reference.)

I needed a replacement recirculating damper actuator for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee that is no longer available. I was able to adapt this one and it works just like the original. It works great.
