2 years now no problems, don't forget to get a new plenum (valve cover) ongoing issue. It gets hot where that metal tube ( looks like a large a screw) in the kit goes into the block and sometimes melt or are about to melt. Do yourself a favor and flush out with a coolant flush and plenty of distilled water the Dex Cool coolant. Hose water, more well water has stuff in it that can eat the head and radiator. Then add green coolant, get the kind for aluminum heads. At Advance Auto it has a Black Cap. Mark Green Coolant Only the coolant over flow container, oh yah wash that out good to. Any coolant will turn to acid after a while and eat your radiator first. Head gasket looked real rusted on my neon which used Dex cool. 8-2017

Accurate product, very good stuff, apart comes with a thermostat, with the 6 injectors urine, Dorman brand is recommended, adjusted exactly in my chevy impala engine 3.8 liters.excellent seller!

This product worked great, but i had no clue what the extra parts were for. I figured out that the 6 small o-rings are for the fuel rail. I could not figure out what a couple of the other round gaskets were for and also what was the small metal tube. What is the silver gasket with 4 holes. I have no clue. A diagram or at least an item list would have been nice. If you know exactly what you are getting, then this is a great set!

kit was what i needed i would suggest replacing the valve cover gaskets also when repairing upper and lower intake gaskets. Also i would suggest buying plastic elbows that go from intake to belt tensioner i bought them from GM for $17.

I purchased this gasket kit mainly for the EGR "stove pipe" because I did not want another upper intake plenum failure due to the overheating problem caused by the EGR system. The part included was good quality but was not an interference fit in the lower manifold making it mandatory that I epoxy it in place. The thermostat included was a 180 degree part, not the proper 195 degree part and the thermostat lip seal was missing from the kit. There is not a thermostat housing gasket included in the kit. Half of the fuel injector o-rings were incorrect for the vehicle I was working on. There is no o-ring for the vacuum hose adapter either. The actual plenum gasket seems to be of decent quality but for a kit that seems complete there are some parts lacking or incorrect that would otherwise make this kit truly complete for upper intake manifold replacement.
