Do not purchase this item if your 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan has the stow & go feature. It will not fit!

I order 2 of these shackles and both came with the spring bushing sleeve shown in the picture. I am going to attempt to make them work on an 05 caravan with stow n go seating. Requires cutting the longer pin down and using a die to rethread the pin. Wish me luck. Only time will tell on the durability.

Despite what the description says, this DOES NOT include all the parts needed. They do not include the sleeve that fits inside the bushings, which means you either have to re-use your old one or find a replacement which is not as easy as it seems. And if your old sleeve is still usable chances are your old shackle is also and all you need to buy is the bushings. Without this sleeve you cannot properly tighten the lower bolt and it will shorten the life of your brand new bushings. A serious oversight on Dorman's part.

I have a 2006 Chrysler Town&Country van. Ordered two of these which Amazon says fits my vehicle. The shackle is much wider than original and will not fit. My mechanic took off old shackles, removed old worn out bushings, and replaced with new bushings off these new Format shackle's. Bushings fit fine. Couldn't find just the bushings so had to get entire shackle. Metal was much thicker and stronger on factory originals so glad we ended up re-using original shackles anyway.
