Would have been 4, maybe even 5 stars if it didn't work backwards. Fixed by using a pick to release tabs from connector (see picture, the tab is pushed towards the center to release) and swapped.

I bought 2 each of these motors and they work great. I didn't need but 2 replacements but decided to change all four of them so I wouldn't have to be bothered with replacing the other two down the road.

This was a replacement for the rear passenger side window on my 1994 ford explorer. It works perfectly. My only complaint is that the original had beefy bolts to hold it in place and this has wimpy screws but they did the trick. The only other thing I hated was that ford makes you drill a whole to get to one of the bolts on all the doors. Guess they really want you to take it to the dealer. TOO BAD, I DID IT MY SELF!!!!! Look for the dimple in the door and drill there.

After I brought the part and vehicle to my mechanic ( who works on Fords ) , he informed me that the housing and electronics would not and did not fit the vehicle intended for use. So , I now have to pay extra to have a new one installed after the door was torn apart for this part.
