Overall, I thought that buying a Dorman would be near the top in quality. Motor runs very slow. Mounting bracket to the car door is not included so unless you have the old bracket, you cannot install the motor... No bolts were included to attach the motor to the regulator or to attach the motor to the door. Made in China. Next time I will consider another brand.

IT FIT VERY WELL AND WAS EASY TO INSTALL.S... SIMPLE TO REPLACE WITH ONLY 3 SCREWS TO REMOVE AND SWAP THE MOTOR. IT TAKES LONGER TO GET THE DOOR APART TO GET ACCESS TO THE LOCATION THAN TO ACTUALLY REPLACE THE MOTOR. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PROPER MOTOR FOR THE PROPER SIDE OF THE CAR AS THAT IS CRUCIAL TO THE FIT. THIS WORKS GREAT IF YOUR WINDOWS GO DOWN BUT NOT UP... THEN THE MOTOR IS PROB JUST WORN OUT. YOU PROBABLY DO NOT NEED THE REGULATOR (UNLESS IT IS DAMAGED) WHICH IS HARDER TO REPLACE AND COSTS EXTRA MONEY YOU DO NOT NEED TO WASTE.

Amazon has a good price on this lift motor. It's an exact duplicate of the OEM one but it seems a little weak on power compared to the other OEM ones on my 2004 Mercury Grand Marque which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I found several YouTube videos on installing them before I started which saved me a bunch of headaches. You can replace these on a Crown Vic or Grand Marque without having to drill out the rivets and completely removing the entire power window mechanism and door glass which is a real benefit. Just a heads up... the Grand Marque door panel lifts straight up not out after removing all of the screws. If the panel won't lift up then keep searching for screws. There's one hidden behind the latch mechanism. Also, when removing the control button switch plate, carefully pry from the front end rather than the rear to avoid breaking the flimsy rear plastic tab off.
