I have the same issue where the plastic mount broke for the door handle. I was going to fix it with JB weld, but one of the cables snapped after a few months of use. Now I have to replace the whole panel again! PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. OR AT LEAST GET THE WARRANTY!

September 2024 update, it’s trash, just broke after 6 monthsGo slow! These are plastic door panels, they’re all fragile.Like others have said the clip where the door handle clips in is too big, I spent some time filing down the clip and didn’t force it and it ended up working for me.As far as operation, it does seem slower, maybe a tiny bit louder but otherwise works fine.Will update if longevity becomes an issue.

Like everyone says the door handle bracket is too wide,easy fix with a dremel,not sure why they dont correct this?

Fit my 2015 Dodge 1500 4 wheel drive Crew cab drivers side purchased one from ebay motors that only lasted three months should have known better since I use dorman on my passenger side and have no problems in the last two years

This works pretty well it Actually looks identical to the o. E! M one that I pulled off, The only issue I had when I installed this is that I broke the little plastic tab trying to put the handle back on. I don't know how to get around doing this. I read one review with someone else that broke that tab. Also it works for now. I've kind of Jimmy rigged it LOLI. Would really like it to work like it does. From the factory, but I don't want to go through all the trouble and uninstall it again just to return it. And get another one..

I have no experience whatsoever but I replaced my 2016 RAM 1500 front-driver power window regulator with the help of a video and my son's assistance. With patience it can be done however this replacement part is not identical to the original. Re installing the wires, cables, sensors, plugs, etc back into the replacement part clips and nooks took some adjustment. We finished the installation and then realized that the inside door handle was not opening the door. We had to remove the door panel and almost the whole regulator to figure out that the problem was on the regulator's section that houses the rubber part at the beginning of the door-handle-latch-cable. This housing section was not made big enough to hold the handle latch cable rubber part back into place causing the rubber part to pop out, loosing tension and desabling the door handle completely. I had to drill tiny holes on several areas of this rather small section, I ran a wire through the holes and in front of the latch cable to force to stay in place. After the modification was done, the door handle worked again. Also, the regulator started squicking after the second week of installation. I am not sure how long this part will last nor the modification that I had to make to be able to use the door handle but I am keeping my fingers crossed because I cannot afford to go through a monsoon season in AZ without a window until a replacement part arrives.

Well made from a well known brand. A replacement for a Chinese made one that only lasted me 2 months. You can see where cheaper materials were used. I hope the Dormam holds up.
