Replaced a broken window crank on my 1982 ACTY. Installed in less than a minute. Works perfectly.

This worked as a straight replacement for a 96-00 Honda Civic window crank handle - it's not an exact match to the original but it will crank your windows up and down. The issue I ran into is that my window rubber tracks are pretty old and had a hard time going up and down. The extra pressure I had to place on the handle to get it to go up and down ended up rubbing down the spindles that grab onto the crank shaft, and now the Dorman handle does not work anymore. I am giving it 2/5 stars because of this. It's cheaply made and doesn't hold up to the 25 year old Honda plastic that has been working great before it broke. In a pinch it's best if you pair this handle with some silicone lube and spray it into the rubber tracks of the window - otherwise you may end up having it break the same way as mine did.I ended up taking my original handle and plastic putty welding it together, and it works great instead. Your mileage may vary depending on how severe the break is on your window handle.

This is very cheaply made and falls apart all the time, almost every time I roll my window down the nob falls off. Spend the $20 for the matching OEM part

We bought this for our Honda Civic coupe 1999 and although it fits, we have to handle it with care cause the material it's made out of doesn't fee strong enough to withhold a strong grip. It's been a couple months since installed n it's working fine but the plastic just feel a bit cheap. Does the job though.

There okay but they are really cheap I roll my window today and I felt like if I didn't crank it nice that it was going to break I recommend just going to a junk yard and getting a original honda one

Cheaply made but cost a fraction of what going to the dealer would have cost me. There are no instructions for installation, but you can find these on Youtube no problem. In the end I can get my window open in my 1997 Civic coupe dx and thats what I need it to do.

Looks good. Unfortunately I'm still trying to figure out a way to get it to firmly grip my window latch. Very complicated since the latch on my car door is smooth as an egg. I used the clip, it didn't hold. I tried superglue. Nope. I might have to drill to get this to stay and roll the window down.
