Installed on my Polaris ATV because I didn't want to spend $125 on OEM switch, worked great for 6 months then failed this weekend. For the money I just ordered the same switch again, maybe will get longer than 6 months use out of the 2nd one.

I needed a push button momentary contact switch to be used aas a horn button on my boat. This appears to be well made and water resistant. Works great and easy to install with proper tools.

Button i received was completely different from what was advertised. Did NOT come with any kind of dust cover. Still looks like it will work for me, but not at all what was expected.

As a couple other reviewers did, I used this switch to replace the bothersome "key start switch" on my Sears electric-start, self-propelled 22" lawn mower.My mower is a Craftsman model 12AE999, which is identical to similar models sold under the MTD label, Yardman (Lowes) etc. I suspect this switch will fit a multitude of other electric start mowers straight away, and fit the "rest" with a little modification!On my mower the Dorman switch fit perfectly into the slot that held the key switch. You pull a couple screws from the battery compartment, yank the key switch (and toss it into the trash!), and wire up the new switch and fit it in the slot . This switch has a great (high) amp rating that lets the current flood into the starter! At $7 with "Prime", it's a deal, and when you push the button the machine REALLY cranks!

This was used for my lawn mower as an ignition starter. We could not find what wire or sensor was causing the mower to not start and this does the trick. It is about the size of my thumb when i push down on it, so it is sizable;probably 3/4" across.I bought a battery wire repair kit from Sears Auto and used the terminals and wiring for this button.No complaints, yet. It won't be stored outdoors, so i can't comment about the durability of the rubber button itself.
