Sadly this switch seemed to be just right and a good price but not so fast. It is the correct switch for the car but the connector won't snap/lock in. Obviously you do want to connector falling out as you drive. On my vehicle the connecting is mounted so that gravity and vibration will make it disconnect easily

The plug did not quite fit. I pressed very hard, but it refused to seat fully. On the contrary, my old OEM fit right in, albeit a bit snugly.Given other reviews, it seems that this product can work, but perhaps they are not manufactured with a high enough tolerance to guarantee a proper fit with each product. Or maybe their is something wrong with my Honda.Regardless, you're taking a gamble if you buy this. Which I suppose it always the case when you buy the cheapest part on the market :)

Got this to replace a worn out ignition switch in a 1998 Honda Accord LX. It fit exactly as the old one, an so far is working well. Hopefully, I won't need to get another one for 20 plus years.

It is a tight fit to get into. Probably much easier to do with the front seat taken out.

This plug, the one that has the tab sticking out, DOES NOT fit 2000 Accords! The tab needs to be almost flush.
