It is exactly like the original except for one part that is better - the rubber grommet in the firewall. This different grommet can easily be pushed into place below the dash rather than having to install it below the brake booster from the engine side. Piece of cake to install and works great. It will take you less time to install than all the time you put it off.

This was a perfect match for the original cable and was quite easy to install in my 1990 Chevy S10. The inner cable is about 1/4" longer than it needs to be but everything still works and looks perfect. I am real happy to have found this replacement to the OEM part at such a good price.

This was just what I needed, fit perfectly. To make it easier when installing cut and use the old cable housing as a fish to pull this new cable through, I had it installed in a couple of minutes, thanks for the great product

required modification to the mounting base before it could be installed where the original cable was mounted. The modification required reducing the size of the mounting bracket.
