Very good value for the money , so far performance is good !No Check engine light ..This exact part is the intake actuator front Bank( 2)Easy to install on the front bank ( valve cover)Intake camshaft (Front ) & (Rear) exhaust camshaft actuators - are the same part numberfront intake is a different part.Rear intake requires to remove intake manifold to replace .Rear chamshaft exhaust actuator is a bit of a pain to install but can be done without removing the upper intake manifold .Fits well ; car connector portion is smaller then factory but makes a complete connection .

So here goes, my mechanic said my check engine was due to this sensor, there were four in total different part numbers but I bought them all by Dorman. I check online at my local auto ports store, and they sold Dorman. Long story short I bought online, a great deal by the way. Gave my mechanic the sensors, he installed them, and poof my 2008 Lexus RX350 use to drive smooth but not after I installed the dorman sensors. I gave my mechanic the what for, and had him take out the sensor, and then poof again, my 2008 Lexus returned to smooth driving on the old sensors. I am not going to say these are not legit, but they sure did not improve my ride so they need to go. I bought four all made by Dorman, they look and feel new so I don’t want to claim fake. If they had worked properly and my check engine was still on…I would have kept the sensors because they were doing the job, but I can not accept them making the car drive sluggish. That means the sensor were at fault. Dorman part# 917-212, 917-239, 917-213

Fixed my p0015 and p0017 on 2009 toyota venza with bad vvt oil valve. Toyota wanted 700 for the repair. the front 3 are super easy to replace. However my rear bank 1 was bad so it took about 1.5 hours and some scrathced hands to get to it without removing anything but the top wiring harness a bit.I needed this one and a 917212 and then one other 1. so there are 4 solenoids but you need 3 different types, 2 of 1 and 1 of each of the others. They only go in and bolt on if its the right one, no timing just undo the 1 screw pop it in and your good to go
