I received the part and should have know something was up with the box was taped back up. Install it anyway and it caused more issues than I had. I went to the local parts store and bought one to fix my problem.

More than anything I’m posting this for people having transmission issues with their Ford Ranger or other vehicle and this could be the magic fix. A lot of times it is but these pets are so cheap sometimes the replacement is defective. I bought this and it was bad. I almost gave up but decided to try another one from local parts store and it was instant fix.

Sensor did not fit in access hole. The o-ring is bigger than what is on the OEM sensor I was replacing, so I put the o-ring from the old part onto the new sensor, and it still will not fit. It seems like the groove for the o-ring on the new sensor is not deep enough. I am returning it.
