I received the part and should have know something was up with the box was taped back up. Install it anyway and it caused more issues than I had. I went to the local parts store and bought one to fix my problem.

More than anything Iā€™m posting this for people having transmission issues with their Ford Ranger or other vehicle and this could be the magic fix. A lot of times it is but these pets are so cheap sometimes the replacement is defective. I bought this and it was bad. I almost gave up but decided to try another one from local parts store and it was instant fix.

Sensor did not fit in access hole. The o-ring is bigger than what is on the OEM sensor I was replacing, so I put the o-ring from the old part onto the new sensor, and it still will not fit. It seems like the groove for the o-ring on the new sensor is not deep enough. I am returning it.
