I am restoring a Homecoming edition and was being picky about wear on the bar where it goes through the control arm. First pic is new bar vs. OK bar vs. terrible bar. This is a solid bar, where the oem bar is hollow. Actually kind of a bummer because it adds 9 pounds to the front of the car. A hollow bar will transfer the road force the same as a solid bar will. I would rather have a hollow bar, but good luck finding an oem bar with no wear on the ends where the control arm bushing rides.Do what you will with that info. The bar fit perfect. Would buy again. Came with bar, bar to subframe bushing mounts, bar to subframe rubber bushings, bolts, and even nuts in case the sway bar threads embedded in the front subframe have become unwelded.

Quality made piece. Comes with bushings, bushing brackets and bolts. Note that this Dorman unit weighs considerably more than the OEM part. Another reviewer stated that the Dorman part is solid steel and the OEM part is hollow. Not sure if this is true, but it is very possible considering the difference in weight.Follow the shop manual instructions for installing this stabilizer bar or it will be difficult if not impossible to install correctly. To correctly install it, you will need to disconnect a control arm to spindle attachment. A 24mm socket or wrench is also needed to install the nuts that thread on to the ends of this stabilizer bar.

This bar is 3X more sturdy than the stock bar whic actually broke TWICE. Very Dangerous to keep the stock bar. When the stock Saturn Bar breaks your front steering and braking goes out the window! DORMAN has another winner of a product here where they correct a dangerous safety defect in the Saturn car, My car has 60,000 miles on it of slow driving and it broke twice! On the passenger side,To replace the bar you need a 24 MM socket for the bar and a 15MM ,18 MM and 19 MM for other fasteners. Be sure to keep the old bar handy with the rubber mounts in their original locations so you can tell how to install new one. It is not obvious which way it goes! Also you need to buy the Rubber End bushings from MOOG # K-8763 which also fits the ford escort. The pld bushings will not survive. I ended up using the DURLAST from Autozone but they cost more and do not include new washers. You will need to oil up and remove the Control Arm bolt on frame. Do not oil up the Steering Knunkle ball joint too much since it will spin in the ball joint if you do and never come out. Those three nuts Control arm, Steering knunkle, Sway bar hold the entire car togather in the front end.Good Luck!

Kinda hard to install. But worked perfectly. Has to be compressed with thick ratchet straps. People say it won't fit, but it will.

Luckily, I saved my original hardware as one of the lock nuts was not fully threaded. I wasted a lot of time repairing the damaged bar threads.

This stabilizer bar is a big improvement over the stock bar. It is solid core instead of a hollow tube. This gives better control and a smoother ride.Stabilizer bars wear out over time, losing their rigidity as the metal is under continuous stress.
