This is to replace the Frightliner one that lasted 3 years in a motorhome that went less then 10k miles. I can only hope it lasts longer. It fits perfect and after doing 3 its a simple job. If it last 5 years and I haven't come back, give my review an extra star and every 5 years after. If it last 3 I'll be back to slam it. Time will tell.

To make sure I got the correct switch for my 2012 Freightliner Columbia, I asked the seller which one I should get and they promptly directed me to this on. NOPE! This turn signal, to begin with, has the mechanism to turn the signal off when you turn the steering wheel, like in a car. My truck doesn't have that. And the mounting base is completely wrong. However, if you have the old switch from you truck, you can do some surgery and transfer the old one's mounting plate over to the new one and get it to work. In fact, I works quite well. But don't think this is a direct fit.

Wrong part for my truck even after I wrote and asked if it would fit. Had to get on the road so I used my military electronic/mechanical experience to make it work for now. Hazards are froggy but work with some finessing.
