So I replaced my brake pads a few months back, but quickly realized I needed new rotors. I hadn't changed out the hardware when I did the pads, but realized after the fact that I was missing a couple of the anti-squeal springs and so should have done so. I ordered this hardware when I did the rotors. Now, when I did the pads I had to replace one of the torque plates because one of the guide pins was hopelessly rusted in place, so I have one OEM torque plate and one aftermarket one (I think it's Cardone brand). I found that, on the OEM torque plate, things were extremely tight. When I attempted to change out the hardware, it became even tighter and was nearly impossible to get the brake pads back on. I ended up just reusing the old hardware (except for the anti-squeal springs, which I replaced with the ones from this kit). On the aftermarket torque plate, there was more room to work and it wasn't really a problem. I gave this kit 3 stars because the anti-squeal springs were fine and were probably necessary to replace. The retaining clips, on the other hand, were more troublesome and, on one side of the vehicle, ended up being more trouble than they were worth. Honestly, I wish I could have just bought the anti-squeal springs, but that doesn't appear to be an option.
