I used this to fill some small gift boxes and it worked well without looking flat or cheap. The black color is rich and consistent throughout the pack.

Plenty of this lovely shredded filler paper for gifts, great deep black matte color will definitely repurchase very affordable highly recommend

No complaints about this solid black shredded paper. It looks good in a gift basket and serves the purpose for which I intended it. The finish is flat, not glossy, which gives it a more natural look that I like. I reserved one star just because I think it's crazy to spend this kind of money for 8 ounces of what is basically "trash" but it compares fairly well with other similar products.

I use decorative shred for everything - gift bags, boxes, baskets. I love a good shred! This shred is great and you get a lot of it. The pieces are the perfect width and the color is a true black. Overall, I am happy with this shred.
