This is the absolute most flimsy item. I think I have ever purchased on Amazon. There is no durability whatsoever and it does not go down into the soil. The handle seems to be made of aluminum and bent easily. If I could give it a -10 I would.

I previously removed sidewalk weeds with a weed wacker, which generally makes a bit of mess. With this scraper, I cut the weed at the surface of the sidewalk, pick up and throw away. I can't cut at root of the weed but still much easier process. Note, the blade is sharp, so consider keeping in secure area with blade cover on.

i grabbed this shovel mainly for clearing out some overgrown weeds and dealing with icy spots on my driveway, and for the most part, it’s been great. the flat blade cuts through weeds easily and scrapes up ice without too much effort, and the long handle makes it more comfortable to use for longer stretches. i’ve also tried it for edging along my lawn, and it did an okay job, though it wasn’t as sharp as i expected.my only issue is that the grip on the handle could be better—it’s a little slippery when i’m wearing gloves, which has been frustrating a few times. aside from that, it’s been a nice tool to have on hand, and it’s made some tough jobs a bit easier.

This garden shovel is a versatile and useful tool for tackling all sorts of yard tasks! It's sturdy, well-made, and the adjustable handle is great. I've used it for weeding, scraping moss. I think it would also work well for ice removal. The wide blade makes quick work of any task. Highly recommend!

With a recent snow storm in New York coupled with sub freezing temperatures for the days that followed, we were faced with ice sheets on our sidewalk, driveway and steps. Our snow shovels did very little to clear away the ice.I was glad I had this to help me scrape the ice away with ease. This may not seem like an obvious necessity, but believe me this works to help break ice sheets up and push away where normal shovel fail in comparison.This comes in 3 pieces and must be assembled, it's sturdy once put together and so far this is a solid product that has already paid off after only one use.Be mindful, as this tool is very sharp and cut or puncture with minimal effort, so use caution and discretion and keep away from the little ones

This review is for the DOUBFIVSY Garden Cleaning Shovel, 54 Inch Multifunctional Flat Shovel Adjustable Long Handle Heavy Duty Garden Shovel Weed Scraper for Lawn Edging, Scraping, Weed and Ice Removal.I see I get the honor of the very first review. So I have one of this type of tools already, I use it out front. I needed one to keep out back for the back and side areas. This is very well made, The blade is very well secured, it has a lip at the upper edge soo if you need to put your foot on it for extra leverage, and it has the 2 angled bars for support. The blade on this thing is wicked, do be careful and don't chop any toes off! This one has a hook curved into each side of the blade so you can turn it on it's edge and scrape down into like a crack to remove diurt/weeds/ice... The handle is metal too and is quick and easy top assemble. There's 2 screws/nuts to hold the blade onto the handle shaft and they include 2 wrenches to tighten them. If you don't need the handle full length you can leave sections out of it.This is a very versatile tool and by all my inspections is a quality made tool! Really happy I was able to get another of these tools, so if I break one I have a backup as it's been invaluable to me this year to help with ice removal outside. We've had harsh winter conditions in our norther state with frigid temps and after the snow storms we get days with the sun shining just enough to cause melting on the roof, right now all the gutters are filled with solid built up ice. I'm using a ton of rock salt/ice melt trying to keep up with melting/refreezing/ice... this tool has been a huge help!Regular price $ 22.98 per the listing and there's a 10% off coupon and it's totally worth it! But as I always say, watch for a sale/coupon, browse listings... and find your best deal!As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I got this specifically for removing ice on my walk way in the winter. I tested it on a small area that had a lump of ice about 6"x6" and just under an inch thick. All this did was slide over the top. I tried scraping it down and nothing. So, maybe this is only good for weeds but, it'll be a few months before I can test that. For now though, it didn't work as intended.
