Being a landscaper where I've been using these types of shovels for years these farm shovels they're great for picking up different debris, snow etc. I figured I'd try this one . After placing the order on a weekend I then read the reviews and there was quite a few of them saying the shovel was quite heavy. I decided to cancel 10 minutes after placing new order and they said it was too late.Four or five days later I received the shovel direct from the company came in a huge huge box. I pulled it out and sure enough it is very awkward and much heavier than the other ones. I decided to try and return it . The only way to return the item since it is large is at a UPS drop off location and the company even through Amazon only refunding if I decide to do it $69 ultimately I'm not gonna take the loss and just keep it, but just be warned the shovel is heavier Than the others on the market with the wooden handles and plastic bottoms.

Seems to be pretty much indistrucable but the scoop angle is pretty aggressive. When you have a big scoop of snow it kinda wants to roll out of your hands. A little on the heavy side but seems very durable and worth it's shortcomings. Recommended.

Got this a week before we got a foot of snow in the south burbs of Chicago. I don't own a show blower (yet) so this thing saved my keister. I was used to using a standard aluminum scoop shovel with a shorter handle. Problem is, the aluminum digs into concrete, making it harder to get a good scoop. And now that I'm starting to get a little older, bending over for every scoop is starting to a take a toll on my back. This shovel definitely made it easier for me to dig us out of our house. Glided along the concrete with ease, and the long handle made it easy to grab a big scoop and toss it out no problem. The snow was still relatively light so, I don't know exactly how sturdy it is, but the shovel was relatively lightweight and felt well built. Time will tell on how long it lasts and how crazy I can get with it.80 bucks is steep for a shovel but considering it saved me time and energy, I feel it was worth it.

Good shovel. I use this for easy mulching off the trailer. I also used it for leaf pick up. Seems flimsy, but, it's definitely durable. Going to use this winter. Will buy again if need be.Update!Used this to shovel slushy snow and broken ice chunks. This is a really good and durable shovel. I even have the ez lift handle attachment because of my back. Now, I can catapult snow over hedges and fences.
