I have about 500 miles on these, and the shifting and braking functions both work with no problems. They look like older-generation Shimano brifters (the shift cable exits the side of the housing instead of being hidden like on the new style). They may be a little heavier than other options, but they are also a lot less expensive. Would buy again.

These r pretty darn good. After 500 or so miles I still haven't got the shifting smooth. I dont know why. But when u shift it shifts a little more then one gear so u have a jump affect and that sucks 100%. Call it user error if u want but I ride over 10k miles a year so I think I know how to shift. My Dura Ace shifter never had this problem. It only hurtd when ur climbing a 8% to 12% hill and try to shift up. When it jumps u ruin ur rhythm and that would tick anyone off.BUT! For the price u have to live with this situation. Because I aint paying $400 for a pair of shimano sti shifters, no way. So iving with this situation is a must so other then this, I like these and I will buy again for sure.Dave C. Stout

Great quality shifter for the price. Like the size and feel of them. I have an old 105 groupset and my brifters went out, so these were an easy replacement set. For those on a budget, these serve well.

Can’t speak to the ruggedness or longevity yet but these were easy to install and provide surprisingly crisp and accurate shifting. If they hold up they will have been an exceptional value.
