Perfect barre brackets for my home gym. Easy to install. Had custom fit bars made for them.

Zero stars. Chipped, rusted, scratched, but I decided to disregard all that and was rewarded with a screw that broke off in my wall while installing, before any weight was put on it. This item is defective and dangerous.

We purchased several of these for our commercial ballet studio. Construction seems sturdy and well made. No chips or weak welds. Anyone with basic handyman skills should be able to install these. We used 1.25" oak rod slid inside of 1.25" PVC pipe for the barres, and they fit very nicely into the brackets. The provided hardware worked, but I did not use power tools to drive the screws, fearing that the screw heads may strip as I was going into studs for maximum stability and durability. I will likely replace the provided screws with beefier hex head lag screws anyway. I highly recommend these brackets. We will be buying a couple dozen more for future studio expansion! I will add pics when the installation is complete!
