I’ve been testing this induction cooktop and overall, it’s a great addition to my kitchen. It’s larger than I expected, which works in my favor because it fits my bigger pots and pans comfortably. It heats up quickly for sautéing and general cooking, which is really convenient when I’m in a hurry.That said, I’ve seen mixed reviews about how fast it boils water and I get it. It does take a bit longer than I anticipated to bring a full pot to a boil, but once it’s hot, it maintains temperature really well. The adjustable heat settings, safety lock, and timer are all nice features that make it worth the price in my opinion.If you’re looking for a solid portable cooktop for everyday use and don’t mind a slightly longer wait for boiling, this one is a solid choice.

This only sorta worked...but maybe it didn't perform do to some damage I didn't notice till after using it once.It is very large...which has its advantages...but on the first use, it never really reached the temp we set it at and we tested it with several thermometers and just didn't quite get there so we had to accommodate with a higher temp. It also seemed to take a while to get to temp...maybe that normal with these as this is my first time playing with induction but just didn't quite work as well as my good ole gas stove.once we used it...i noticed something clinking around inside...and then the parts inside started to shift around...I turned it over and two holes were in the plastic underneath, like transport damage or some sort...but it did exposed just how thing the plastic casing is around this thing...very cheap...very thin...not ideal if you plan to use this regularly.I really can't endorse this product...just doesn't feel safe

We live in California and with PG&E excessive winter gas prices, thought this might be a way to save in the winter. The cooktop is large and as you can see in the pictures, it covers about two burners in a conventional stove. With that said, pretty easy to use. It comes with a magnet to determine if your pans are compatible and my stainless worked well. The 12" pan fits easily on the stable cook surface. Heating was almost immediate. Temp controls are in strange increments of Fahrenheit but easiest to think of high, medium and low. As you can see, I cooked up bacon and it did a great job. Also did some mushrooms and scallions at lower temp which worked great.Overall I really like this induction top. I will definitely use inside throughout the winter and maybe add to my outdoor bbq in the summer.

Looks okay and powers on but doesn't reach a temperature to properly cook. Will not boil a pot of water. Tried several different pans.

My family uses this daily and though I've only owned it a relatively short while I feel I know it's idiosyncrasies fairly well. For instance, it is slow to heat up (like most electric cooktops), but it took 32 minutes for 1 gallon of water to come to a rolling boil in a 6 quart pot on the largest burner. That seemed excessively long to me but knowing that detail means I can time things accordingly and start my pot sooner than I otherwise would have.The little push-type electronic on/off switches are not as sensitive as they need to be. Sometimes I can press the ON switch numerous times, even aggressively, and the unit will not turn on. I just have to be patient though because it does eventually respond.It cooks eggs, sears meat, boils, and maintains a relatively constant temperature.Note: I'm just an ordinary cook, nothing fancy-schmancy.

This induction burner is replacing a. DUXTOP that turned out to be very complicated to use, and Repeatedly shut off because we missed a step in the starting setup. None of that is an issue for this unit, turn it on set power walk away, ot set timer if needed, very easy we love it, we'll probably will donate the Duxtop to someone else!!!!

Description was incorrect, this is basically two in one , can be used under or over the counter heating unit .Instruction book is not well written hardly any specifications details in it . No tech support number or customer support.Heating is good and uniform . Big circle has more heating power .
