Seems pretty good so far. It's very sticky so it can be hard to handle, but it does hold the rug to the floor nicely. Very generous roll, I need a lot because most of my house is hardwood floors, and I have slippery rugs everywhere. I used this tape on one of the long runner rugs, and it's holding it securely in place. No complaints so far! Seemed like a really good value too, I'm happy with it!

It not good, I put tape down to hold my rugs on the floor and they just end up siding around after time so I used this tape and the same happened so I put more on it and a day later there back to siding around not great tape for rugs like it says

This is perfect tape for hardwood floors. It's very sticky and nor overly thick. Peels easily and the backing doesn't split too easily which also makes you be able to seam well if need be. For our use here with our wood floors it works like a champ, and peels up fairly readily if need be without leaving a bunch of "sticky". Might be different if left for years, but for our area rugs this is great. And one of my pet peeves was carpet tape that was super hard to peel. This is super easy!

I'm seriously impressed with this tape. I honestly didn't expect much because generally tape and fabrics don't really work well but this stuff STICKS. I have multiple rugs in my house (with wood flooring) and I needed something to keep them from sliding around and coming up at the edges. I put tape down around all the corners and they've stayed flat and smooth. Daily foot traffic from people, dogs running around, and a robot vacuum with no problems. Plus it's a really big roll so I still have over half left if I get new rugs or decide I want to move things around.

works perfect, its easy to cut and install, its not too grippy that it will ruin your rug tread but plenty sticky enough that everything sticks as it should, it also comes off the floor when you need it too and wont ruin your flooring. 10/10. and its super long so will work easily for multiple rugs!

I was expecting something with a little more "body" to it. As you can see in my pic, the tape itself, after removing the backing, does indeed have two sticky sides, but once you remove the backing it's very thin and difficult to handle. The only real effective way to use this is apply to the carpet first and THEN remove the backing and put down on the floor. Also, be careful when putting it on the floor, as once it's in place it's difficult to reposition. Even then, because it's so thin, it doesn't stick well to undersides of carpets that have a rough or tweed bottom. Also, because it's so thin with sticky on both sides, it's difficult to handle once the backing is pulled off. Another point is that the floor surface has to be VERY clean with no dust of debris. If there is any dust or dirt, it quickly loses it's ability to stick, and soon the corners will start to turn up, and eventually lose all function of holding the carpet in place. Bottom line, as long as you clean the floor very well, and the bottom of the carpet is relatively smooth, it works well if applied as I explained above.

I have both heavy and light/thin rugs in the house on wood floors. Typically the non skid mat you put under them does a good job but my problem is with my robovac lifting up the edges or corners. This tape worked perfectly to stick all of my rugs down securely with zero lift or movement.

While I can imagine some uses for this double sided tape, securing throw rugs to hardwood floors isn't one of them. We tried using it on multiple rugs of different sizes and lengths. It didn't stick to any of them; as soon as we stepped on the rugs, they slid around just like they do on bare floors. Worse, the tape stuck to the floor TOO well; when we removed the tape, it pulled off small areas of the hardwood finish. For that reason, I also wouldn't recommend using it on painted walls. It might be safe for use on other more durable surfaces, but we'll stick to using this tape for crafting projects, pun intended.
