This set of cups comes nicely packed in some thick foam. They look delicate, but since they are made from borosilicate glass, they should be sturdier than they look (not something I want to test out, in case if I'm wrong about that). The airspace does a good job of insulating them. You could get away with not having a handle on these, since the insulating air layer keeps the heat away from your fingers. What I love about these is the fact that you can see the layer of crema on top of the espresso.

The packaging and delivery speed were great. The cups have an even and matching shape with the set, but the plastic mold around the handles aren't fully smooth. The rough plastic edges coupled with how light these are give the impression that these are more meant for children's tea time. The double-layer insulation is effective and they are able to hold temp as good as our more expensive glass cups. However keep in mind that we don't sip for a long time so take that insulation feedback accordingly. All in all I'd say these do the job but definitely don't have the same refined feel you'd expect in an espresso cup.

These double-walled espresso cups are as functional as they are beautiful.
