It’s good quality and works well for my speakers. I like the subwoofer sound output plug. I have dropped it a few times on concrete floors and it still works great. Highly recommend

I just bought the Douk Audio M1 Pro. Has anyone connected a powered subwoofer to this unit. And if so, can you recommend one that worked for you.

This is a fine product but be aware that there is no way to reduce the treble or bass, just a way to boast. That makes this amp unusable for me.

Awesome little amp. I bought 3 of them to complete my home sound system. I paired them with 3 chromecast 4ks and 3 HDMI to RCA converters and got my ceiling speakers and backyard speakers to all play the same thing using Google home. I even have Google homes in my rooms and bathrooms. So now I have a proper full home sound system powered by these mighty little amps. I have them set to around 45% volume and they push my speakers which are Polks and Yamahas outside to the max! They sound great and are affordable. I would certainly buy from Douk again! They power 4 speakers easily. My custom approach using these was way cheaper than going for Sonos or Bose amps and works great with Spotify and google home. The Bluetooth also works well but I don't use that function at all. I just leave them set to RCA input and use the Chromecasts to power them. Make sure to set your Chromecast to control their own volume and under power settings I set them to never sleep. Other than that its an easy setup and worked out great.

This review is written primarily based on the price. If you want better sound, you will pay a premium price. For what you are getting here, this thing is great! Nice lows, nice imaging... really nice within it's category. I've never had anything under $500 that sounds as nice as this!

I used 9ft of 8-gauge electrical wire each from the subs to amplifier. For the subs, I used two Dayton Audio SD215A-88 8" DVC Subwoofer's (Power Handling 80 Watts RMS /Power Handling MAX 160 Watts) and a Bbox E8DV Pro-Series 8” Dual Vented-Divided Subwoofer Enclosure for this build. My sub grills are coming in tomorrow DS18 PRO-GRILL8 Speaker Covers. Total watts at 100% volume on amplifier 320watts at 160watt max per sub combined. I unfortunately had to request a replacement amplifier on the day I got it, as it was a Dead-on Arrival (DOA). The DOA amplifier had power but no volume both Bluetooth and RCA. I knew for sure I had my connections all good and my suspicions of a DOA amp was confirmed when I tried it with my older spare amplifier and speakers worked. Now that I have my replacement amplifier up and running the subs sound good that it vibrates some of my garage.

The old (and quite expensive) Harmon/Kardon receiver/amp I've been carrying around since the late 1990s had been living out it's last year at the little gym my wife & I own, where it slowly died. It was a workhorse, and served its purpose well, but I when it came time to replace it, my gym didn't need all those bells and whistles. What it needed was something very simple - analog & bluetooth input, powerful stereo output to run several gym speakers. This little gem came highly recommended, and it turned out to be perfect for our needs. It's elegant - simple dials and switches, no useless menus or screens, not an inch of waste in its compact design. It's even smaller and more beautiful in person than I imagined. And, boy howdy, it puts out a lot of sound. Douk knows what they're doing - if you need big stereo sound in a small package, I could not recommend this little dude more.

Given the mixed reviews, I was skeptical about buying this unit, but I’m glad I gave it the chance.I have tall, two-way floor standing speakers and a pair of bookshelf speakers too. Given it’s power output (160w) at 4ohm I was expecting it to clip or power down with my bigger speakers. I tried them first and so far I haven’t experienced this. However you may get more detail from the smaller speakers. The unit is compact (pictured with beer can for reference) because of its external power supply. It doesn’t have any ventilation which I thought might be an issue but after a few hours of playback it’s not even warm.I have experienced the issue where sound randomly drops out over Bluetooth, but I was doing other things on my phone when it happened. I would suggest leaving your device to play, or if that isn’t an option use the USB/line in. Make sure you attach the antenna, too, or the Bluetooth range will be short.Now.. the sound quality. I wasn’t expecting the digital to analog conversion (DAC) to be fantastic or the fidelity from the power supply and capacitors to be amazing. BUT. I was pleasantly surprised. High end is detailed, without being scratchy, if you crank the treble knob. The low end leaves some to be desired and if you crank the bass knob mid-range becomes a bit muddy. If you pair this amplifier with an active subwoofer, though, you can get enough low end without destroying your mid-range. The unit does have a relatively high noise floor meaning you can hear some hiss or static with nothing playing in a silent room, but the noise does not increase with volume. The unit itself looks clean, the knobs and switch feel solid and provided you have banana plugs the speaker connection is good. Packaged well (though it could be more sustainable than foam), delivered quickly and easy to set up. I even gave the device a custom name with Bluetooth so I know what I’m connecting to.Considering these features and the quality, the value for money is incredible. Nice!

To being, this little amp is just what I needed for my application. I'm powering two Definitive Technology AW6500 outdoor speakers with it.Pros:Size - This amp is small in terms of amplifiers. It's Class D, so small form factor is the name of the game.Power - The power it puts out is consistent. I have no issues powering my 200w speakers as this amp provides 160 watts per channel.Features - The bass and treble control was a huge selling factor for me. Having the ability to adjust the tone sets this amp apart from others. The knobs have a metalized texture that allows for easy adjustments, even with wet or sweaty fingers. The inputs and source options are a big plus as well.Speaker connectors - The connectors on the rear of the amp that accept speaker wire are decent quality. The screw posts that retain the speaker wire are made of plastic, which seems pretty standard for these amps. I'd suggest using the banana plugs to maintain a more reliable connection, especially if you move the amp from time to time.Cons:Bluetooth - While Bluetooth connectivity was the primary method of connectivity I had in mind when deciding to purchase this amp, the range of the Bluetooth is poor. Most Bluetooth is reliable within 30-33 feet. When having my phone in my pocket and walking 15-20 feet away from this amp, it can cut in and out, and it's solely a BT connectivity issue. With Bluetooth 5.0 technology, I'm not sure an external antenna is necessary, but it's worth noting that this amp does not include an external antenna.Overall, I'd recommend this amp to anyone looking to power accessory speakers like bookshelf speakers or outdoor speakers. I have not used it in a home theater setting, but I imagine if your setup is compatible with the ports on this amp, it would work well. The Bluetooth connectivity issue I mentioned is manageable (which is why this amp is still getting a 5-star rating) if you leave your Bluetooth connected device nearby, but it's definitely something to be aware of if you plan on being at the outer reaches of the Bluetooth connectivity range.

For the price it's unbeatable.I bought this along with some high quality cables, speaker wiring and banana clips. I soldered everything perfect but I had a problem with the banana clips touching each other because the speaker output ports are so close. A bit of electrical tape fixed it and now it's basically flawless, apart from not having a DAC which produces a slight buzz at high volumes.I've been using this for about 2-5 hours a week since early October and there's been no problems. It can easily blow up little speakers tho so be careful. connected to PC via aux > RCA it reaches the limits of my speakers rated at 80w each at about 50% volume. (It's extremely loud at this volume)I usually run it at about 10% volume so I'm hoping it'll last. I will update this review if it breaks.

Excellent sound quality and works well with an active (powered) sub. The Bluetooth 5.0 quality is excellent, even with no antenna (which makes it look slightly sleeker than those with - personally I don’t care). The range from this Bluetooth 5.0 unit without an antennae is about the same as other brands that have antennae’s and Bluetooth 4.2. That’s nice but from what I’ve read about Bluetooth 5.0 range - if they had an antennae on this the range theoretically would have been phenomenal. Was getting the odd pop and click once every couple of hours - until I got a one piece 3.5mm to 2 x RCA (don’t use adapters, use a one piece).Returned my Foster Audio (without sub out) which was also great quality. Both sounded and looked much the same. But I had a spare powered subwoofer sitting around in wanted to use, which adds significantly to the sound quality for me.Lastly, also like the control switch selector from BT, RCA and Off. Other units can be auto switching, which can be beyond annoying. Whichever one you end up buying, look for a switch to control that functionality.
