The local wild.birds like the mix overall. However, they tend to make a mess as they toss a lot of the seeds (mostly the Milo) onto the ground. Not too many doves lately in my yard so hard to say if doves would consume all of the variety of seeds.

The Dove Mix 5 lbs bird seed blend is marketed specifically for doves, but in practice, it appears to be a hit with a wide variety of backyard birds. Whether you're feeding doves, sparrows, finches, or simply trying to attract feathered visitors to your yard, this mix seems to do the job well. Even the squirrels can't resist it, so be prepared for a few unexpected guests at the feeder. The seed mix works effectively in outdoor feeders, including camera-equipped and solar-powered units, and pours cleanly without excessive dust or debris. While the product is described as a nutrient-rich, nut-free formula that supports daily energy and balanced nutrition, itβs difficult to verify the health benefits firsthand when used to feed wild birds.Overall, itβs a dependable and well-received option for general backyard bird feeding.

I have multiple mourning doves in my yard everyday and they seem to enjoy this Dove seed very much. It is nutrient rich and has a variety of seeds, millet, wheat husks and safflower that provides quality food for ground feeding birds. It seems fresh too, he amount I placed in the backyard was eaten quickly, in less than a day. This is a five pound bag and I am very happy with the overall variety, freshness and healthy balance provided.

All our regulars seem to love this bird food and don't leave much behind (which is a good sign of quality throughout). We even have a wild turkey who just started stopping by and seems to enjoy it!

I ordered this bag of birdseed about a month ago. At checkout, the listing said it would arrive in about a week, but once the order was placed, the delivery window shifted to a two-week range starting two weeks from the order date. The bag finally arrived at the very end of that window, so it took a full month to receive it. In the meantime, I had to buy two other bags of birdseed to keep up with my feeders. That said, Iβm very happy with the quality of the seed itself. The minimal ingredient list is a big plus--no filler, no junk. The bag arrived in perfect condition, with no tears, dust, or broken seals. Weβve had a wide variety of birds show interest in this mix, including cardinals, finches, woodpeckers, sparrows, doves, and starlings. Theyβve been happily eating from both the feeder and the ground below it. The blend looks clean, fresh, and well-balanced.If you're not in a rush, this is a high-quality, no-nonsense seed mix that's clearly bird-approved. Just be aware of the slow shipping time and plan ahead.

This is a fine seed for feeding doves or other wild birds. They eat it. It is rather heavy on the milo though, and through my years of feeding wild birds, I have found that this is probably the least liked ingredients in seed mixes. I think only the mice really like it at all, and the jays throw it gleefully out of the feeders. It is also on the more expensive end of custom mixes, at over $3.50/lb. I probably wouldn't add this to my list of bird food mainstays. A good patio mix works better for me than "custom" blends.

My backyard flock used to pick around half the seed mix I gave them, but the Royal Fields Dove Mix is like an all-you-can-eat spread they never leave. Safflower, wheat, and milo are balanced so none of it ends up as dusty pile-ups under the feeder. The first morning I poured it out, a pair of mourning doves posted up and cooed like VIP guests.Because itβs nut-free, I donβt have squirrels staging hostage situations on my platform feeders. The grains are cleaned wellβ hardly any broken bits or chaffβ so the water tray under the station stays clearer too. Iβve even caught the occasional cardinal snagging a snack, which speaks to the overall freshness.Five-pound bag lasts longer than expected since the seeds are dense; a single scoop fills two tube feeders without overflow. No weird chemical smell when you open the bag, just that wholesome farm-bin aroma. I store it in a plastic bin on the porch and havenβt seen mold or bugs creeping in, even on humid days.If your feathered neighborhood friends deserve energy without the junk fillers, this mix keeps them fueled and your yard soundtrack lively.

This is a nice 5 lb bag of doves favorite seed. It includes wheat, millet, safflower and milo seed. It appears to be good healthy seed. There is no strange smell but I will store it in my fridge for the first 24 to 48 hours. My birds are happy. Great value.
