Just use regular cat litter, this traps all the pee at the bottom and smells. My cat hates it will pee outside of the box.Bought regular litter and he is as happy as can be.

This is good litter. It is very fine, so soft on paws, it absorbs pee and dessicates poo, and it is more fragrant than some litter I have tried. I WISH THAT Amazon would put it on a subscription.

The litter absorbs great and makes for an “easy” clean up but the smell from the dust when mixing is almost unbearable. It’s supposed to be dust free and I do see my cats with less dust on their coat after using the box but when mixing the urine the dust rises and it’s just offensive. I noticed my cats not covering their poop with this litter too, not sure if it’s due to the smell. But I probably won’t be purchasing it again. To be clear it doesn’t smell when it’s not touched, I think the odor control is quite good actually, it’s only when mixing and I find myself holding my breathe, which I can’t say I’ve ever done with another litter.

This brand is my favorite litter. It absorbs scent very well and there have been fewer accidents since I started using it. It's important to scoop and stir daily, otherwise it will smell and get very gel-y. The dust is generally low, but not 0. If you do step on a piece of loose litter on the floor, you WILL feel it as it is quite sharp.

I had used Fresh Step crystals for years. Then they became cost prohibitive to me. I then switched to the Frisco brand of crystals on Chewy. Now they are out of stock. After much consideration, I decided to try Dr. Elsey's. They are more costly than Frisco, but being available helps. They seem to absorb really well and my cats had no problem with the switch. So if you also are in a quandry about crystals availablity try these. I think you will be happy with your choice.

I switched over to this from Tidy Cat Lightweight and LOVE IT. The cats took to it fine and as long as you're scooping and stirring it up daily (I've never waited longer than a day), there is NO ODOR. I live in a condo with an open floor plan and even ask people if they smell cat litter or something similar and they do not.Yes, there is dust on the initial pour into the box, but after that I've never noticed it when I scoop and stir. I'll only go back to clumping/clay litter if my cats start going outside the box. Good stuff.

We have been using this litter for 3 years now and love it. Virtually no smell of cat urine at all. We prefer the purple but when push comes to shove we will still use the blue one.

My cat's urine has always been extremely concentrated even though he's hydrated. I'm talking 3 days and the whole litter box has to be changed with twice daily scooping of clay litter. Clay was definitely not an option for me. I started out with Pretty Litter, but the subscription got a little invasive for me so I looked for alternatives. I really like this one, and since the bag is so big it would last me a couple months. However, my partner is the one who spends the most time dealing with the litter as he is retired and I work a ton. His preference is for clumping litter for the urine but it gors pretry fast, so we came to a compromise. If you're interested in ideas, here's what we do. At the beginning of the month when it's time to change the bag completely, I put a layer of this down on the bottom first to act as a base layer. The crystals are small and catch a lot. Then I add a layer of a brand (usually Neon) that is also silica gel but is clumping. This way, my cat can urinate and whatever doesn't clump gets absorbed by this. TMI maybe, but when my cat was young, an older cat taught him to pee in the front and poop in the back, so cleaning it out is super quick and easy. Just a method that works for me!

I have 2 cats that love this litter. This non clumping litter controls odor and doesn't stick their fur so they don't track it everywhere. It also changes color as it soaks up liquids which gives a nice indicator of when it needs changing.

After one night of usage, I can confidently say that this is the absolute worst litter I have ever used. It tracks everywhere. There's not a single room that does not have litter in. Woke up this morning to litter in the bed and on my desk in a completely different room. My cat has only used the litter twice overnight according to my Litter Robot and yet, I have litter pieces in all rooms. Actually calling it litter pieces might be wrong. What we should be calling it is little shards of glass everywhere because the pieces are sharp and some are pretty small and yes I did accidentally step on one and injured my foot. I urge everyone to stay away from this product and its false advertising especially at the ridiculous high price.
