DR strings, especially the Brite series, really speak. I've used them for years on all my bass guitars.They translate well in recordings and are comfortable to thrash. A-1.

These did not work for me, the low B string came unraveled but the bridge, it keep falling flat out of tune every time I would pick it up finally I figured out why due to the string slowly unraveling by the ball end until it broke completely off...

I had a hard time finding acoustic strings for my 5 string acoustic bass. The ones I got from the store were too long and there was no way to get them to work. I ordered these and they work perfectly!

I just put these on my Washburn AB-35(5 string). So far they are great. They play easily and sound great in all ranges. They haven't come out of time after several hours of playing. I will purchase again.

The strings that came on my Michael Kelly Club acoustic bass guitar.were OK to start but quickly went dead. The E string was the worst - reduced to an indistinct thumping noise. I restrung the bass with the DRs, and the difference was instant and obvious! These strings produce strong, clear tones without being too twangy. My bass's volume seems a bit stronger, too, but it's a fairly quiet instrument unplugged, and that's not fixable just by putting on new strings. But then, that's what amplifiers are for :-)

These are great strings, nice tone and feel. And they last a very long time. DR is the only bass strings I use on all of my basses
