The fit and finish was good but the bend in the metal was made in the wrong place. The sling bracket would not sit up tight against the pistol.

For me fitment wasn't an issue even though others have said they had issues.It's a bit hard to hold in place during install since you're juggling this mount, the grip and the grip screw receptacle all while trying to use a screw driver to reinstall the grip screw. A second person handling the screw driver would help I think.Once you get the screw threaded the rest is easy.It's important to note that it's not really set up for a single point mount. When I attached a single point it would flop to one side or the other since it has holes on each side but not in the middle as you would expect from a single point.I ended up putting on a two point sling with one point attached to each hole in the back and it's perfectly balanced now.It is slightly more glossy than the mat finish of my Draco but not enough that it stands out, it bothers you I think you could scuff it up a bit with sand paper to get a more mat finish.Over all I think it's a great product. Even if I decided to remove the sling at some point it doesn't take up much space so I'll likely just leave it on.It looks like it belongs there.

This works so perfectly on the Draco mini that it should come already installed! High quality, strong & durable. Super easy install that will take five minutes. Everything lined up and fit perfectly. I love the Draco mini but love it even more now that it has a sling. Very tight and sturdy and looks “right” on the gun and doesn’t look out of place. Amazing mod for the price.

Needed a sling for Century Arms 10.6 Inch RAS47 Ak-47 Pistol. This was an easy install. 3/16" hex to loosen magpul screw in grip well. After loose, turned AK right side up, removed rear cover and spring. Put finger on inside to hold inside screw part in place. Flip AK upside down and remove grip screw and drop grip. Then placed this item into place with sling holes pointed toward top of AK. Then a simple reinsertion of grip and tighten screw back into place. Perfect fit and now I can attach either a single or double hook tactical sling to the rear. Makes easy carry across the chest or side. Color is a lighter flat grey that goes well with Charter Arms AK flat black with black magpul grip. Nice for a great price.

Installed this on my Mini Draco but after extreme tightening and loctite, the FAB defense grip was still shifting out of alignment (swiveling). Got worse after shooting a few magazines. The sling plate was sliding on the receiver no matter how tight the grip bolt was. So to mount this plate sturdier and firm, with the grip off, I laid it on the stamped receiver, well aligned with square hole/trigger guard, clamped it down and decided to drill. Burned out like three drill bits before I could get through this plate. Cold hard steel, it is tough. After drilling I installed a dome head bolt and lock-nut tightly securing the sling plate to my receiver. If you do this mod to your gun, make sure the drilling is at the right distance from square hole/trigger guard. The trick is to be able to mount the grip without the bolt head interfering with its flush mounting to the bottom of the sling plate. Now the sling plate is secured to the receiver very well with no swiveling or shifting. Finally installed my grip, loctite the mount bolt....and BAM! No more swivel what so ever. The grip is on there tight and firm as well.Overall, this is a good product for the money.

A very nice little sling mount for the price, simple yet effective. It's solid. The design makes proper alignment much easier than sling mounts which are simply "forked", as opposed to this style which has a cutout for the grip base and another for the trigger guard at the front. it is also more solid than the previously mentioned type. the only real negative is that you can easily scratch up the rear of the receiver with some types of slings, but that applies to pretty much any sling mount like this.

This adapter fits well enough and my magpul sling attaches correctly, but I have two issues with it.A) The angle for the sling attachment points is such that the adapter hits the back of my hand.B) The edges are sharp-ish which makes it more uncomfortable than it would have been if they'd rounded the edges a bit. When I get a chance, I'll dremel it into submission and recoat it.I know that would have complicated manufacturing and things in the AK world are not all smooth and shiney like they are in the AR world. I would have paid a bit more to get a better polished product, but the adapter does its job as designed.Installation is pretty simple (like most everything on an AK, save the dreaded shepherd's crook pin retainer). It's easiest if you pop the top off your AK, remove the bolt and recoil spring and stuff a finger down inside as you loosen the grip screw. Once the adapter's in place and you've tensioned the grip screw, you can remove your now greasy finger and reassemble your rifle. Easy Peasy.
