I used this saw to cut tile that was in place on a floor. I had a 6’ and 3 1/2’ cut to make. The diamond saw blade lasted through both cuts and cut the tile cleanly. The vacuum adapter worked well, although I had to duct tape it to my hose. It was very maneuverable and easy to control. I used the metal cutting blade on some of the tile trim and that worked well too. Noise level was decent, but use ear plugs. The price was great compared to others. Now why 4 stars? The battery did not last through the first 6’ cut before I had to recharge for over an hour! Forget getting a spare, $70! Second issue is a problem, but likely the same with all of these types of small circular saws, the size of the guard is such that you can’t run the saw all the way to the end of a cut at a wall or door jamb. To finish the cut I had to use a small hand Dremel. Finally, the depth of cut is not great. I cut in multiple passes through regular floor tile on a mud mat and wire mesh, about 7/8”, and the final pass couldn’t reach the wire mesh or subfloor, so the max cut is about 3/4”. If only I had that extra 1/8”.

Aparentemente, faltaban los discos de corte especificados, pero me di cuenta más tarde que se encontraban en un compartimiento lateral de la bolsa, esto da la impresión de que el kit está incompleto.

This is a nice tool with regard to it's size and what it appears to be designed to do. However the battery capacity is sorely lacking. I bought it to cut rectangular holes in lap siding on my shop. This siding is known commercially as HardiPlank, which is about 1/4th to 5/16ths inch thick and is a composite material that is somewhat like cement board. It is hard and brittle but is easily cut with a Dewalt cordless circular saw (many cuts) or hand saw. However, this Dremel tool would not cut more than about 30 linear inches of the HardiPlank before the battery was shot. Now you have a couple of hours or recharge time before you can use it again unless you have a few extra batteries (at $75 each). It took me half the afternoon to cut 2 18 inch by 3 inch holes in the siding. I'm keeping it for other projects. I'll watch for a chance to get a second battery at a better price. But I'm rather disappointed at its lack of adequate battery power to do any serious work in a timely manner. Dremel needs to offer a bigger battery at a competitive price for this tool.

It is a very compact and convenient Saw to use for home DIY projects. The downside is the depth of cut which is only 0.75 inches. Unfortunately, for my first project, I manage to encounter this limitation. Apart from this it is a very handy tool to have in the house.

It makes quick work of everything it says it will make quick work of. Pretty standard for Dremel products. Battery holds charge through the day and makes using it simple and anywhere, electrical outlet or not. DIY'er, crafter, hobbyist, or a long Honey Due list makes this worth every penny.

In design this is a hybrid between an angle grinder and a skill saw. It come with 3 different 4" cutting discs but the instructions indicate that it will hold discs up to 4 1/2". The size is smaller and the cutting capability is excellent. The smaller than a skill saw size makes this tool very maneuverable and easy to steer so that precise cuts can be made in tiles and sheets of plywood. It is battery powered so there is no interference by a cord and the battery life is adequate for most tasks especially DIY projects. The blades are easy to change and it even comes with tools to help in making straight cuts and a dust exhaust cone is also included to be able to direct the sawdust away.
