How to tell if your igniter is working
If the igniter has continuity, your multimeter should read anywhere from 8 to 16 Ohms.
If there is no reading on the multimeter or very little change, then there is no continuity, and you will have to replace the new nitride furnace igniter.
When the furnace won't light, the igniter doesn't glow, is cracked, broken, burned, cracked, damp, etc., or when the igniter doesn't energize, or when the multimeter doesn't read correctly or varies minimally (if the igniter is energized, the multimeter should read between 9 - 17 ohms).

I used this igniter as a replacement on an Anderson high efficiency furnace. Took a little bending of the brackets on my furnace. That might be because the previous owner told me he had replaced igniters multiple times. I don't know how much he changed the setup from original over the years. At any rate, this Dreyoo brand igniter fired up just fine and lit the gas within the time needed. Hope it provides a long service life.

This hot surface igniter fit my furnace perfectly. It wired in very easily and seems of equal quality like the original one. It has been working perfect. I’d recommend this to anyone that needs a spare.
