Extend the range of your easy gears from the 14-28 Shimano standard, and pick up some speed too! 11-32 rear gearing is going to allow you to leave the front derailleur alone a little bit longer, and find more comfortable pedaling with a wider range of gearing. I actually ran an 11-32 on a one-by on the road with a 40t chainring, and a MTB set-up with a 28t chainring. For one-by, it was entirely adequate for normal riding. The con side, it spreads your range at a more progressive rate. This means that if you like a more consistent cadence, the spread of this gearset will make it a little harder to match speed to cadence. Always a little too high, or a little too low. A little conditioning will usually get you used to your new available gearing options. This is my 3rd DNP freewheel, I did explode one a few years ago, but at this price, it wasn't too painful to replace. If you're thinking about it, you'll be happy if you just try it.

Fits perfect to my Bionx E-bike. I couldn't buy such thing in Europe, but great quality.

So far it's a good freewheel, better than the one that came with my bike It's a good idea to grease it before use.

This Flywheel should be standard on The Engwe Engine Pro and any other EBike that you expect to be able to pedal over 18 MPH. Even though it’s only 2 teeth smaller 11/32 it allows you to keep up with the Pedal Assist way past 20 MPH.

I've been using Epoch freewheels on my three ebikes for awhile now (averaging 4000+ miles a year). They are of exceptional quality - durable hard, sharp teeth for flawless shifting. Very easy to install and compatible with Shimano and SRAM derailleurs and shifters. I use Shimano, SRAM, and KMC chains with quick connects and have had no issues with them.

I purchased this freewheel for a conversion that I was working on, and beyond checking it for visible defects I just put it aside, for longer than the return period. That was a mistake. The thing turned out out to have NO lube in it, judging from the horrible loud clacking the pawls made. Thinking that this was a simple assembly mistake, I added some full synthetic oil, and when the noise diminished, I installed it. BIG mistake. Not only does it make the distinctive bad freewheel clanging of metal against metal while I'm pedaling, it also makes a horrible scraping sound when I coast. I've added Phil's freewheel oil twice now, and it's just barely tolerable. I'm going to have to replace the thing soon, which involves a lot of work with this Magic Pie conversion. I think I'll install the known-good one year old freewheel I have, just to be safe. What I will NOT do - ever again - is to buy a "Drift Maniac" component.

I had converted a Trek DS8.3 to an eBike with a 1500 watt rear hub kit from China. The 7 speed freewheel that came with the CSC hub didn’t index properly with the Acera rear derailleur on this Trek bike, but the biggest issue was that I had a Class 3+ eBike with gearing (14 tooth smallest) that didn’t go high enough for pedal assist at 30 to 32 mph. This freewheel had the exact same thread for hub attachment as my CSC - supplied 7 - speed freewheel. With the right removal tool purchased from a local bike shop, the remove and replace went smoothly. My Acera derailleur indexes and aligns well with it throughout the gear range. Freewheeling is smooth, and the product feels well - made. Finish is attractive and seems durable.

It's hard to find an eight speed freewheel. This worked great for upgrading my old cannondale road bike from seven to eight speed. It helped to have pretty even transition between gears. My only negative is that you have to own or buy a long freewheelremover to tighten or loosen the freewheel. I ordered their's. Great gear ratio.
