At the current listed price of nearly $30 this seems on the spendy side given that the actual DeWalt DW0521 is actually a keyless chuck and not actually any more expensive. Looks like there's a lot of impact driver drill chuck options available for half this one's price, and so it seems like the seller is just trying to lure people into buying a different product than they search for.That aside, the chuck itself seems decent. (Well, not for a **keyless** chuck, as is hopefully obvious from the product photos… 😅) The name stamped on the chuck is SAN OU which is a real brand of its own if you're looking to find the same thing under a more honest listing/price.I've been using it to swap out and drill pilot holes before driving screws in, though honestly it's still a bit of a pain versus just bringing along a real drill. I will probably use it more in earnest some day when I need to use a driver *extension* or as another reviewer mentioned for times when a NON-keyless chuck (still laughing at how they call this a keyless chuck and then the very first picture is the chuck with a key 🤣) is actually desirable.

NOT a Dewalt DW0521. In fact, NOT a Dewalt product at all. TOTAL SCAM..its worth less than 1/2 of what i paid.

This chuck adapter works great. It's solidly built and comes with a 1/4 inch shank that will fit any common drill or driver. The shank and chuck arrive as 2 parts, so it's easy to swap in a SDS or whatever shank you need. The shank is reverse threaded into the chuck with a reverse threaded PH2 bolt though the open jaws of the chuck. The unit I received is well machined and runs in/out smoothly. It'll tighten up pretty good by hand, but the key is needed for smaller bits and tougher work. I've been using the drill a lot less lately, and this chuck now lets me do most of the drilling with a driver instead. Plus, sometimes the non-keyed chuck on the drill just can't clamp down as tight as a keyed chuck can. That's where this new one shines.
