The price is great, but if you look at the pictures, the hooks that hold in the frame are some type of unfinished light metal. Certain other options will hide the fasteners a bit better, but they're good if you don't mind that.

I love the gorgeous pattern! But the bamboo slats have gaps between them. So much so that I can see the light bulb clear as day through the lampshade. I bought a lighter colored bamboo drum lampshade before this, and the construction is much better. I took photos but they are on my phone (and I'm writing this on a desktop computer). I will upload the differences between the backing on the inside of the lamp later on. But it's evident that this is not made as well as the bamboo shade I got for about the same price. Too bad I decided on a black bamboo floral print shade, or I would just keep the other shade. I would not recommend this lampshade.
