This was much cheaper than the original but seems to be of the same quality. It may be calibrated differently than the original because my freezer runs a little cooler than before. It now cycles between -6 and zero.

The service people told me the refrigerator needs a thermistor. They wanted to charge my 72.95 for the thermistor plus 85.00 to install it. I ordered the part from Amazon and installed it 5 min. Total repair cost $8.95.

Worked just fine. Local repair shop listed this part at 10 times the Amazon price. That 10X was not including taxes or labor.

Have yet to install it. Checked resistance and it seems to be spot on compared to online resistance charts for the temperature.
