You will still have a mess but this helps contain that mess considerably. It is much less of a clean up after using this sander. It comes with a lot other accessories, which are handy, however, I would not trust this for long term usage. It does seem a little lightly built. Overall, great help at a good price.

I do not recommend THIS drywall sander! I suggest looking at another brand from another seller. The sander arrived intact. I was excited to try it out and unboxed it and assembled it into its short configuration and powered it on. This is where my excitement faded. The tool being a fair value turned out not working in any RPM range lower than 1350 and honestly it still stalls out at that range. Closer inspection revealed a small paint or grease pen mark on the cord near the handle, so on the 29th of March I contacted the seller to ask if this is normal and does it need to break in before it will function at the lower RPM range and I also inquired about the white mark on the cord as it seemed odd to me. I was asked for pictures, I provided a few pictures, and they would ask the manufacturer about the mark. That was on March 31st, I still have not heard back from the seller about my concerns and it is currently April 26th.I got this tool for a large drywall job I needed to complete, and I wanted to know if it needed to be replaced or if I should just use it as is. I finally gave in (time sensitive project) and attempted to use it since I own it now with no response from the seller about my concerns. It is heavy and awkward to control especially when it is extended. I can say that the suction for dust collection works much better than I expected it to. However, with the tool not working in all RPM ranges it has the tool is not very versatile. I almost always try to give the seller a chance to answer questions or fix issues before reviewing or contacting Amazon. Since I used the tool without being told it was ok by the seller, I did not contact Amazon for return, replacement, or refund. Once I make the seller aware of an issue it should be handled without me pestering them about it, but I was forgotten, or my concerns were disregarded. My experience was not good with this product so take your chances with it!

Any drywall project comes with lots of sanding; usually in inconvenient places. This tool lets you reach high or distant areas and makes quick work of getting to a smooth level surface. Being able to connect your vacuum to keep down dust is the icing on the cake.

Hubby was really excited to get this drywall sander. He uses it for work constantly. Adjustable sizes and the chest strap make it easier to use.It's a little noisy, so the ear plugs are a definite bonus while using it. It comes with everything shown and works great.So why only 3 stars? Because the attachments are a pain to put on and get off again. Instead of being slide and turn, like most attachments are, these have tabs and slots. You press the tabs and they should, in theory, go right into the slots. They don't. Very hard to attach them and even harder to take them off.So while the sander works great, the design could be a bit better.

I was very impressed with this machine. It was easy to put together. It sands smoothly and the motor is strong. The suction works well and it picks up 90 percent of the dust. It kept a lot of the mess up and made the job so much easier. I like that it is extended so that it makes things easy to reach. Great machine for home jobs and even larger jobs
