I used it outside without any external vacuum attachment and the brush around the perimeter of the paper did a good job of confining the dust produced by sanding the finish on our outdoor shuffleboard court. Sanded the entire 240 square foot area 3 times (3 different grits) in about 4-5 hours. The original contractor paint finish had been too rough. The surface paint was bumpy and this machine removed the high rough points without stripping the paint, just what I wanted. A floor sander would have been WAY too aggressive.

The unit does a good job at minimizing dust and sanding very evenly. The only issue I had is the led lights went out pretty early on in my use. It did not affect the use of it, just required a little extra time checking to make sure the sanding was even.

This item is SUPER SUPER heavy. I ran late on my drywall project and was outside of the return window for this by the time I finally tried it… I used it for 10 minutes and hated it. Do NOT recommend.

never got use the unit unable to figure out how to connect to vacuum. no directions
